What Is MPYR Radio?

A

MPYR Radio is a group of people who have come together for one reason. WE believe it is all about the music. We want to bring YOU good music, bad music, maybe music you haven't heard in a long time, maybe some new and up and coming artist, maybe just something to get you dancing. We want you to feel like you are just one of the gang here at MPYR Radio.

   
 
Q How do I listen to MPYR Radio using Microsoft Windows?
A

To listen to MPYR Radio, you must have an audio player installed. This can be done in two simple steps.

First, check to make sure your PC meets the minimum system requirements:

    * Windows 9X, NT, ME, 2000, XP or higher

    * 300mhz or better processor

    * Microsoft IE 5 and higher (Other browsers may work but are not supported.)

 

STEP 1: Choosing Your Player

You can listen to MPYR using players such as  RealPlayer, Winamp, Sonique, MusicMatch, or iTunes, or Windows Media Player.

 

  1. RealPlayer 8 (or higher): Once it is installed, you are done! If you have an older version, download this newest version.

     

  2. Windows Media Player: If you use Windows Media Player, you may experience severe buffering delays. To use this player, choose it as your default player.

     

  3. Winamp, Sonique, or another MP3 player: If you prefer to use one of these players, please choose it as your default player.

     

  4. If you don't have a player ... download and install one.

    • RealPlayer: (download)

    • J. River Media Jukebox: (download)

    • Winamp: (download)

    • Windows Media Player (may experience long buffering delays): (download)

    • Once you select a player, follow the directions specific to your player. You may need to restart your computer, so bookmark this page.

     

  5. If you selected Winamp or another MP3 player, go to step 2. If you are using  Windows Media Player or RealPlayer, SKIP step 2 and start listening.

Q How do I listen to MPYR Radio using a Mac?
A If you are using a Macintosh computer to listen to MPYR,
you have several player options.



If you are using an earlier version of the Mac Operating
System, or if you prefer a different player, you can use a
third-party player like iTunes or any other streaming mp3
player. Set iTunes as your default audio player for Internet
music playback in the iTunes Preferences and then set your
Listening Settings to mp3 player.
